A fair night.
Clear ground rules.
Prototype content for professional review. This is not a finalized agreement or launch-ready policy.
Content ownership
Questions, answers, and pack materials remain the property of their respective owners. A subscription grants limited event-use permission, not ownership.
Event-use license
The intended license permits one revenue-generating public trivia event per week, at one location, per purchased weekly event license. Additional nights or locations require additional licenses. Unused weekly allowances do not roll over. Redistribution, resale, and unrestricted reuse are outside this grant.
Downloaded files and subscription end
The intended permission ends with the subscription’s paid period. Retaining a downloaded file does not authorize future events. No technical restriction on copied files is promised.
Recurring billing and contracted rates
The intended subscription charges immediately and renews on the chosen interval until canceled. Cancellation takes effect at the paid period end. Existing continuing subscriptions retain their contracted base and additional-license rates if public prices change.
Answer accuracy and liability — counsel to draft
Define the review and correction process, handling of disputed answers, any disclaimers, and appropriate limits of liability with counsel. No final legal wording is supplied here.
Before live subscriptions
Counsel must complete the governing agreement, seller identity, applicable law, refunds, taxes, privacy obligations, contact details, and enforceable licensing language. This page is a review outline, not launch-ready terms.
